This outstanding Ego Power + Z6 ZT4201E-S is a battery powered zero-turn ride-on mower that is the first of its kind – it combines unbeatable power thanks to its capacity to house up to six 12.0Ah batteries, allowing you to cover a substantial 10,000 square metres (2.5 acres) on a single charge. The Z6 upholds that traditional ZT profile thanks in no small part to the independently-controlled 18″ drive wheels at the back and 11″ 360° caster wheels at the front – allowing the discerning gardener to make those tight zero-radius turns using the lap bars. This ensures that this machine is incredibly agile and will feel unlike anything you’ve worked with previously.
The Ego Power + Z6 ZT4201E-S is incredibly user friendly and offers many state-of-the-art designs. If you want to work with just four batteries then you can expect to cover up to two acres on a single charge but of course you have the choice to simply add more batteries or reduce the amount depending on how big your land is. The LCD interface offers a total of three driving modes, control, standard and sport and you don’t need to ask which one we preferred! This makes your ride 100% customisable and all this at the mere touch of a button. More great features include Bluetooth, a cup holder, an adjustable seat with pivoting armrests, USB charging port and LED headlights for your safety. There’s always lights on when you work, but at the touch of a button you can put extra ones on for when you are working in a busy environment or if the light is starting to fade. The rear lights flash when you are in reverse – just another nice little touch from those clever chaps at Ego.
Although side-discharging the grass cuttings is the standard on this EGO Power+ Z6 ZT4201E-S, you can also choose whether to mulch the grass clippings by inserting the mulch plug provided or collect with the optional twin grass bag. This means that this ride-on from Ego is incredibly versatile and practical. You can choose 10 cutting positions that range from 38mm (1.5″) and 114mm (4.5″) and the sturdy cutting deck comes well equipped with a total of two 53cm (21″) blades. Look at the driver’s left side and you’ll find the well placed deck wash hose connection.
